The Coalition just released its new energy plan – and it is about as draconian and appalling as we expected. Great strategy to release it at the last moment before the media blackout.
Happy voting in our most un-democratic country where debate on key policy is prevented by a collusion of conservative media and vested interests in industry, clever political strategies and the failure of government to act to correct these distortions – I think my Cuban energy expert Mario was right, Cuba is far more democratic as he explained to me how they implemented energy policy in his country.
