False claims by apartheid Israel debunked

” … live TV footage showed militant rockets falling short in densely packed residential neighborhoods. And AP visits to the sites of two explosions that killed a total of 12 people lent support to suspicions they were caused by rockets that went off course.”Misfired rockets may have killed over a dozen in Gaza battle

It is estimated that thirty (30) Palestinians including journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh have been killed in Jenin (a northern city of Palestine) this year. Immediately after Abu Akleh’s murder an Israeli military chief claimed that she was killed by friendly fire. An Israeli human rights organisation, B’Tselem, shared their own footage showing how this was not possible. Having been caught out, Israeli military backed away from its original explanation after senior US politician and speaker of the US congress Nancy Pelosi called for a full investigation.

It was in this same city (Jenin) that Israel’s pre-emptive strikes against Gaza was started by Shin Bet arresting Bassem al-Saadi, injuring the cleric and killing a Palestinian teenager in the process. Al-Saadi was exiled by Israel to ‘Marj al-Zahour’ in southern Lebanon in 1992 but had returned to Jenin where several camps had been razed to the ground by Israel in 2002. This is captured on film by Mohammed Bakri in Jenin Jenin banned in Israel; it is well worth watching the testimony given by a young girl about the Israeli bombing of her camp in Jenin.

I do not think any credence can be given to claims that over 40 deaths of Palestinians in Gaza were caused by other than pre-emptive strikes by Israeli war planes. Claims by Israel that Palestinian rockets killed innocent civilians, including a 5 year old child, should be taken with a grain of salt.

We need to ask always, especially where Israel is involved, where is the evidence for such claims? Even their own human rights organisations do not believe the spin put out by IDF military spokespeople.

The war crimes committed by Israeli army far exceeds all other killings by occupation forces in the modern era. Yet Israel is immune from prosecution in the International Criminal Court. Why?

I fail to understand why volunteers in the Ukraine engaged in repelling Russian occupation of their country are lauded in the West whereas Palestinians carrying on similar activities in the West Bank’ are characterised as being ‘terrorists’.
