Inspired musically by their travels around the world, they defy genres to create their own indie world folk. The duo have been on the road in Australia and Canada playing numerous venues and festivals. In Australia festival highlights include Cygnet, Wallaby Creek, Nannup and Illawarra. In 2017 they performed in Valledupar, Colombia at the UNESCO declared festival ‘Encuentro Vallenato Femenino’. They have also completed tours of Europe and New Zealand and played cafes and bars on the streets of Latin America.facebook.com/niceverdes/

Jumping FencesJumping Fences — the hosts of Foco Nuevo — play a unique mix of original and Latin American songs. The song-writing partnership of Sue Monk on guitar and vocals, and Lachlan Hurse on electric bass, together with James Harper on drums and Ross Gwyther on tenor sax and clarinet, perform arrangements that move easily between tenderness and energy. Over three decades their poetic and insightful lyrics have explored the lives and feelings of people living on the margins or caught in the midst of struggle.‘Sometimes you can sing what you cannot say…’www.jumpingfences.com.au
