Inspired musically by their travels around the world, they defy genres to create their own indie world folk.The duo have been on the road in Australia and Canada playing numerous venues and festivals. In Australia festival highlights include Cygnet, Wallaby Creek, Nannup and Illawarra. In 2017 they performed in Valledupar, Colombia at the UNESCO declared festival ‘Encuentro Vallenato Femenino’. The song-writing partnership of Sue Monk on guitar and vocals, and Lachlan Hurse on electric bass, together with James Harper on drums and Ross Gwyther on tenor sax and clarinet, perform arrangements that move easily between tenderness and energy.
