I’d like to remind you about Kooii’s music making at Durrumbul Hall this Sat, Dec 18. We’ll be joined by drumming and dance troupe, Spankenhide.
Durrumbul hall is a beautiful community hall at the cnr of Main Arm road and Coopers lane, Main Arm (get there by going through Mullumbimby.
Doors open at 7pm. Music starts at 8pm. Brazilian cuisine, catering for vegetarians. Entry is $18/$15 concession.
Also, the next day, Sunday, Dec 19, at 2pm we’re playing one set at QPAC (Melbourne st, near Southbank) this . This is part of the weekly ‘Global Grooves’ sessions being held every Sunday by BEMAC on the lawn out the front of QPAC. Free entry. Islander reggae group, the Spacifics, play after us and then Oka.
And then… that night, the mysterious entity, half band/half mystical beast, Kafka, featuring members of kooii, join Spankinhide at the South Leagues Club, Davies Park, Montague rd South Brisbane. Show start 7pm.
