URGENT APPEAL: Medical Aid for Cuba
The US continues to impose sanctions on Cuba, severely restricting access to medical equipment in the fight against the pandemic.
In spite of this Cuba has sent more than 2300 medical workers around the world to 24 countries in the battle against COVID-19.
The Australia-Cuba Friendship Society is undertaking a national campaign to send medical equipment to Cuba to assist the fight against COVID-19 and is seeking your support.
Equipment will be purchased and sent through secure channels, in coordination with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People (ICAP) and the Cuban embassy.
Please donate through our MyCause page.
Alternatively direct deposit to:

Campaign closes 8th June 2020.
The Cuban people and government have always been the first to send medical and other assistance around the world in times of crisis. In the times of COVID19 they have again risen to the challenge but at the same time the US blockade on Cuba prevent them from accessing much needed testing kits and surgical masks for use in Cuba.
We, branches of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society nationally would like to raise some funds to assist Cuba in getting these much needed materials in solidarity and appreciation of what they do.
We thank you all for your kind donations and please share this page to among your networks.
