Its dancin’ in the streets to stop Adani

Dancin’ in the streets to stop Adani Brisbane 22 April 2019. See vid by RT below.

The Bob Brown show came to Brisbane today via Blue’s Fest … 4,000 people joined them and marched through city streets, down to Adani’s Brisbane headquarters opposite Eagle Street Pier near where Pauline Hanson and Fraser Anning are holed up in government offices at taxpayer expense. In front of the Australian government centre, Bob took a straw poll … 4,000 people yelled out their opposition to Adani. Bob said that this was the biggest election rally so far in the 2019 Federal poll, he probably said that in Sydney as well. As far as populist politics goes Pauline and Fraser have nothing on Bob. A call for radical change, get rid of coal. Extra-parliamentary politics at its best. All power to you, Bob!

The pleas of former Greens leader, Bob Brown, fell on deaf ears in government ranks, both state and federal. Bill Shorten said he would not overturn ScoMo’s water approvals and Anastascia keeps locking up those pesky Extinction Rebellion people and urging Aurizon and Adani to take out SLAPP WRITS TO BANKRUPT them and organisations like FLAC. Unfettered, the young people are taking direct action by blocking the coal trains … many have been arrested and face jail and expensive civil law suits with disdain. Its their future after all.
