If anyone is in Melbourne on Sunday after Rafeef’s gig – this is on. We’re one year on from the racist far rights’ first mobilisation in Melbourne. We’ve come out consistently to declare Melbourne a racist and fascist free zone. The racist ideas of the groups like reclaim Australia are backed up by the media and the racist government – our only platform is the one we create in our numbers and in our public anti-racist message. Don’t miss this important protest!

Playing intimate gigs in Sydney Brisbane, Melbourne and Byron Bay, showcasing her signature performance style and powerful words. “Rafeef’s poetry demands to be heard. She is powerful, emotional and political” says Ken Loach of her poetry.
Rafeef uses language to narrate, inspire and pull apart stereotypes. Her poems We Teach Life, Sir https://youtu.be/aKucPh9xHtM and Shades of Anger https://youtu.be/m2vFJE93LTI went viral online within days of their release. Her new album, released in November 2015, features an exciting blend of poetry and music, which she brings to the stage with special guest musician Phil Monsour and others.
