Prominent Murri leader and Socialist Alliance member, who was an early activist at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy
in Canberra in 1972, and attended the Embassy 40th anniversary commemoration, Jan 26-28. Sam will give an
eyewitness account of the protests on Invasion Day in Canberra, refuting the racist media furore launched against
the Aboriginal community, and explain the real issues addressed at the Embassy anniversary.
