Just Peace is supporting the Brisbane leg of Miko Peled’s tour.
Writer and peace activist Miko Peled offers an Israeli perspective on how to achieve peace in the Middle East. His father was one of Israels most famous generals, Matti Peled, who went from Israeli war hero to peacemaker. His son Miko says in public what others still deny:
For the good of both peoples, the Separation Wall must come down, the Israeli control over the lives of Palestinians must be defied so that a secular democracy where all Israelis and Palestinians live as equals can be established in our shared homeland.
His book The Generals Son will be released at the end of the year and can be ordered in advance. Order forms available on the night.
