The “Summer Camp Of Destruction:” Israeli High Schoolers Assist The Razing Of A Bedouin Town

Israeli police demolished 45 buildings in the village of al-Arakib to make way for a Jewish National Fund forest. The destruction was part of a larger project to force the Bedouin community of the Negev away from their ancestral lands. The land will then be open for Jewish settlers. NCCA Passes Resolution for Peace in Palestine

The National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) announced it will continue to add its voice to the call for an end to Israel’s occupation of Palestine and condemning all acts of terrorism. In solidarity with Palestinian Christians, the NCCA asks its member Churches and the wider Australian community to consider a boycott of goods produced by Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Jerusalem Post – Israel agrees in principle to UN inquiry

Israel has agreed in principle to the establishment of a UN flotilla probe committee to investigate the incidents surrounding the IDF raid on a Turkish aid ship in May, Defense Minister Ehud Barak reportedly told UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Xinhuanet – Around 517,774 Jewish settlers live in settlements in the West Bank.

According to a report published Tuesday by Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics ( PCBS), settlements in the West Bank were distributed into four strips, namely the eastern strip including 28 settlements, mountain strip including 31 settlements, western hills strip including 48 settlements and the greater Jerusalem strip including 37 settlements.     I think it’s shameful that this man and others no doubt, who have shared the struggles of their country , fighting for it’s very survival for decades, has had to cower to pressure for political correctness.
    Where are the true historians and I mean objective ones.
    In many ways there is no denying he is correct and there was a time they were the scapegoats and at the mercy of others.
