Pirate Brides are Ryk Rostron, Rose Broe, John Holmberg and Markus Karlsen.

The ‘Brides’ sweet harmony sound and distinctive arrangements are grounded in the Irish, Australian and American traditions. Their music is a treasure chest of contemporary acoustic originals through to Roots Country, Bluegrass, Celtic and Old Time – all backed by lively and tasteful instrumentation on accordion, mandolin, clawhammer banjo, guitar, and double bass

Pirate Brides are a well-loved fixture in the Brisbane acoustic music scene. [website]
